I had a wonderful stay at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. the spacious room was definitely a highlight for me. I enjoyed the beautiful city views and the dedicated area for coffee and minibar. it made organizing my belongings so much easier. However, I found the breakfast to be a bit pricey and lacking in variety. Overall, my experience was good, and I would return without hesitation.

The hotel's location was a major advantage. directly connected to several subway lines, making travel around Tokyo a breeze. It was in a quieter part of the city, which I appreciated after busy days out.
Dining

While the breakfast options were delicious, I found it a bit expensive for what was offered. it felt limited in variety, especially for a high-end hotel. Still, I enjoyed the mix of European and Japanese cuisine.
Facilities

The facilities were well-maintained, though the gym wasn’t particularly impressive. I appreciated having access to an adult-only pool and being provided with a smartphone to navigate the city.

My stay at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu was fantastic. The location near the Emperor's Palace and convenient subway access was very convenient. I loved the superb dining options, especially the breakfast, though it could be pricey. The room was spacious and beautifully designed but could use more storage space.

Rooms

My room was spacious and had a nice view of the Tokyo cityscape, which I really enjoyed. The bed was comfortable but on the firmer side, and the bathroom was huge but needed a bit more storage.

The location is perfect for getting around Tokyo with two subway stations right in the basement. It made sightseeing a breeze!
Dining

I loved the breakfast options, especially the French toast, but I found it a bit pricey at about $50 per person. The variety was excellent for my picky kids, but I would have preferred more healthy choices.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers a nice gym, pool, and even a 7-11 on the lower level, which was super handy. Room service was also available, though the gym could use some improvements.

I had a pleasant stay at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The spaciousness of my room was certainly a highlight, combined with its lovely blend of contemporary and traditional Japanese design. The service was mainly attentive, although I did face some minor issues. The hotel's location was convenient for subway access, yet it felt slightly distant from major tourist spots.

My Deluxe Hollywood Twin Room was exceptionally clean and spacious, equipped with a large and comfortable bed. The magnificent views over Tokyo were a delight each morning. Though the ambient lighting in the bathroom could use some improvement.

The staff were extremely friendly and generally helpful. However, I did experience a lack of response when I requested water for my room while I was out, which was disappointing.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated right above a multi-line subway station, making transportation across Tokyo easy. While there aren’t many restaurants close by, the area felt clean and safe.
Dining

The dining options were fine, but I found the menu choices a bit odd at times. The restaurant was good overall, though I wished for a complimentary breakfast with my stay.

The hotel features a lovely pool and several excellent facilities, including room service and a welcoming bar. I did notice staff absence at the spa on a couple of occasions, which was a minor inconvenience.

While I found the location slightly removed from some attractions, the convenience of direct subway access was a major plus. Overall, I can definitely recommend it for anyone looking for really good hospitality in Tokyo.

My stay at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu was absolutely fantastic, especially considering the typhoon situation we experienced. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and went so far as to make the mini-bars complimentary during the storm. However, I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast options, which didn’t quite meet my expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, I would definitely return and highly recommend it.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Akasaka area, close to the metro station. It’s a quiet part of the city but with plenty of dining options just a short walk away, right near the Imperial Palace and the Japanese Parliament.
Dining

While the room service and the breakfast I ordered were quite good, I found the breakfast options at the buffet a bit lacking for a healthy eater. They could definitely improve on that with more variety, especially for fruit and whole grains.

The hotel offers great facilities like room service, dry cleaning, and has a convenient 7-Eleven in the basement. I appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail throughout my stay.
